Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to confirm the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, effective February 22, 2017, with the exception of engineering services within the Design and Construction Division, with two branches as follows:
 a) Corporate and School Infrastructure; and
 b) Kindergarten to Grade 12 Education and Early Childhood Development.
