Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to restructure the Department of Justice and Public Safety, effective February 22, 2017, to consist of all of those functions formerly within the Department of Justice and Public Safety with the exception of the Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Division, with four branches as follows:
 a) Courts and Corporate Services;
 b) Legal Services and Office of the Legislative Counsel;
 c) Public Prosecutions; and
 d) Public Safety and Enforcement.
