Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Patricia A. Hearn as Deputy Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs and Deputy Minister of Labrador Affairs, within Executive Council, effective February 22, 2017, at her current salary and Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of her date of appointment, the outcome of which is to place her, retroactive to February 22, 2017, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which she has been appointed herein, and with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply.
