Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Janice Barnes as Executive Director (Labrador Affairs), within Executive Council, effective February 22, 2017, at her current salary and Point Scale, with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of the date of her appointment, the outcome of which is to place her, retroactive to February 22, 2017, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary to which she has been appointed herein, and with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply.
