Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. John Phillips as Assistant Deputy Minister (Acting) of the Intergovernmental and Aboriginal Affairs Secretariat, effective September 4, 2012, with salary at step 10 on the 1560 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan, in accordance with the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016, with Mr. Phillips remaining on the payroll of the Eastern School District and with the District to be reimbursed on a regular basis for Mr. Phillips’s salary.
