Under the authority of subsection 3(5) of the Waste Management Regulations, 2003, and paragraph 9(2)(b) of the Independent Appointments Commission Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint the Deputy Minister of Municipal Affairs and Environment as Chairperson of the Multi Materials Stewardship Board, on an interim basis, effective February 24, 2017, until such time as the position is filled in accordance with the Independent Appointments Commission Act.
