Under the authority of section 4 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to move that His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, by Commission under the Great Seal of the Province, appoint ­­­­­­­­­­­­­the Honourable Thomas W. Marshall, Q.C. as Attorney General, in addition to his existing responsibilities as Minister of Finance, President of Treasury Board, Minister Responsible for the Human Resource Secretariat, Minister Responsible for the Public Service Commission, and Minister Responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation, with effect from October 19, 2012.
