Under the authority of section 4(1) of the Child and Youth Advocate Act, following the unanimous approval of a Resolution of the House of Assembly, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Carol A. Chafe as the Child and Youth Advocate, effective December 16, 2010, in accordance with the terms and conditions of a contract between the Speaker of the House of Assembly and Ms. Chafe, a copy of which is to be filed with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
