Under the authority of section 25 of the Energy Corporation Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Finance to provide a guarantee or guarantees as the case may be (estimated to be $40.1 million as of February 1, 2011) to the lenders for the outstanding loan related to the Star Lake Hydro Project, subject to terms and conditions acceptable to the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Natural Resources and the Minister of Justice.
