Under the authority of sections 10 and 11 of the Executive Council Act and section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to enter into a new five-year agreement of the Canada/Atlantic Provinces Agreement on International Business Development for the period of April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2016, a copy of which is attached as Annex B of the Minister’s Submission, subject to final review and approval by the Intergovernmental Affairs Secretariat, Cabinet Secretariat, the Department of Finance and the Department of Justice.
