Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is please to authorize the Department of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development to pre-commit total funds of $57,600 ($US) against its 2012/13 budgetary appropriations to facilitate the award of a contract for the provision of in-market consulting services relating to the economic development of Newfoundland and Labrador’s ocean technology industry in the United States, specifically in the New England region, to Trinity International Consultants Inc.
