Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funding of $9,064,200 against its budgetary appropriations in each of 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14 and $6,971,500 against its budgetary appropriations in each of 2014-15 and 2015-16 to facilitate the award of the contracts for the provision of Passenger/Freight/Vehicle Ferry Services to Coastal Labrador communities of Black Tickle, Cartwright, Rigolet, Makkovik, Postville, Hopedale, Natuashish and Nain from Goose Bay and Lewisporte.
