Under the authority of section 3(5) of the Public Trustee Act, 2009 and section 8 of the Interpretation Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. John Baird to the position of Deputy Public Trustee, with Mr. Baird to act in the place of the Public Trustee until such time as the position of Public Trustee can be advertised and filled accordingly.
