Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to transfer enforcement responsibilities under the Wild Life Act and regulations, and other appropriate legislation and regulations and related responsibilities respecting endangered species, wildlife enforcement within wilderness and ecological reserves, inland fish and migratory birds, from the Department of Natural Resources to the Department of Justice.
