Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Environment and Conservation to pre-commit funding of $2.5 million annually in each of 2012-13 and 2013-14 to facilitate remediation of lead impacted soil in the public and residential areas of Buchans.
