Under the authority of section 3 of the Works, Services and Transportation Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to permanently close the section of former highway exit ramp reservation at the southeast quadrant of the intersection of the Route 70, with Columbus Drive, Fox Farm Road and Powell Drive, measuring 3744 square metres, as outlined and described in the survey plan and description attached in Annex B of the Minister’s Submission, and the Minister of Transportation and Works is hereby authorized to consolidate the 3744 square metres area of land with other lands owned by the Minister and to convey to the Town of Carbonear the consolidated lands measuring 0.775 ha., as outlined and described in the survey plan and description attached in Annex C of the Minister’s Submission, for the sum of $230,000.00 and subject to those terms and conditions that the Minister prescribes.
