Under the authority of section 4.1 of the Public Utilities Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to exempt Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro from its obligations under section 38 of the Public Utilities Act which requires notice, an inquiry, and Public Utilities Board approval to discontinue service to William’s Harbour.
