Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Janet Vivian-Walsh as Assistant Deputy Minister – Primary, Elementary and Secondary Education in the Department of Education, effective August 8, 2011, with salary at step 25 of the 1628 point scale of the Executive Compensation Plan, with Ms. Vivian-Walsh remaining on the payroll of the Eastern School District and with the District to be reimbursed on a regular basis for Ms. Vivian-Walsh’s salary.
