Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ellen Macdonald as Chief Information Officer in Executive Council,  effective July 11, 2011, with salary at step 17 of the 2228 point scale of the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step progression and general salary increases to apply in accordance with Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Public Service Secretariat for classification, the outcome of which will not negatively impact Ms. MacDonald’s current salary, with any salary increase on the basis of the classification process to be effective as of the date of appointment, where applicable.
