Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of sections 6, 7 and 9 of the Research and Development Council Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint the following individuals to serve as Directors of the Research & Development Corporation of Newfoundland and Labrador, for the term noted, effective from a current date:

i) Ms. M. Jacqueline Sheppard, Chair, a member from the private sector and resident of Alberta, re-appointment for a three-year term;

ii) Mr. Alan Brown, Vice Chair, a member from the private sector and resident of Scotland, re-appointment for a three-year term;

iii) Mr. Gary Dinn, Director, an active researcher and member of the private sector, re-appointment for a two-year term;

iv) Dr. Brian Veitch, Director, an employee of a publicly-funded post-secondary institution in the province and active researcher, for a one-year term;

v) Ms. Hege Rognø, Director, a member of the private sector and resident of the province, for a three-year term; and

vi) Dr. Laurier Schramm, Director, a member of the private sector and resident of Saskatchewan, for a two-year term.
