Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Education to pre-commit funds against its budgetary appropriations as follows:  $25.5 million in 2010/11, $35.0 million in 2011/12, $35.1 million in 2012/13, $22.7 million in 2013/14 and $1.5 million in 2014/15 to provide for the renovations to existing residences and construction of new residences at Memorial University in St. John’s and Corner Brook.
