Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Health and Community Services to pre-commit funds against its budgetary appropriations as follows: $295,450 in 2010/11 and $323,868in 2011/12 to facilitate the province entering into a contribution agreement with Health Canada to enhance drug treatment services for youth.
