Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Education to pre-commit funding in the amount of $8.75 million against its budgetary appropriations in 2012-13 and $3.35 million against its budgetary appropriations in 2013-14 to facilitate the award of a contract for the construction of the new Davis Elementary School in Carbonear to Marco Services Limited.
