Under the authority of the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to provide for the issuance of a Proclamation to signify to the Members of the Forty-Seventh House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador that they should proceed to choose some person to be their Speaker and to present such person for the Lieutenant Governor’s approbation on the date on which the purposes for which the General Assembly has been called together are to be declared.
