Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Weldon Moores as the Acting Assistant Deputy Minister – Marine Transportation (Lewisporte) in the Department of Transportation and Works, effective October 26, 2011, until the appointment of a permanent incumbent, in addition to his responsibilities as the Assistant Deputy Minister – Strategic and Corporate Services, with no change in salary as a result of this additional assignment.
