Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Peter Noel as Private Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor, effective November 7, 2011, with salary at Step 18 of the 1560 Point Scale and normal step progression and general salary increases applicable to the executive to apply. Mr. Noel’s entitlement to 11 months of severance benefits owing from his prior political service from June 12, 2000 to November 4, 2011 is to be recognized and reserved for payment at a future date, and is to be in addition to any severance benefits accrued as a result of this and any future public service appointment
