Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Service Newfoundland and Labrador to pre-commit funding against its budgetary appropriations as follows: $645,300 in each of 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21, and 2021-22; and $268,900 in 2022-23, to facilitate the award of a contract to Gemalto Inc. as the service provider for a new Driver Licence/Photo Identification central issuance model.
