Under the authority of section 4 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to move that His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, by Commission under the Great Seal of the Province, appoint the Honourable Charlene Johnson to the Executive Council of the Province as Minister of Innovation, Business and Rural Development, Minister Responsible for the Research and Development Corporation, Minister Responsible for the Office of Public Engagement, and Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, with effect from October 9, 2013.
