Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation to pre-commit funding of $1.5M against its budgetary appropriations for 2011-12 for an equity contribution to the “Republic of Doyle” television series.
