Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Robert Gardiner as Assistant Deputy Minister (Post-Secondary and Skills Development) with the Department of Advanced Education and Skills, effective April 22, 2013, with a 10% increase applied to his current salary, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of his date of appointment, the outcome of which is to place him, retroactive to April 22, 2013, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which he has been appointed herein, and with normal step progression and general salary increases applicable to the Executive to apply.
