Under the authority of section 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize an extension of the lease of 22,700 square feet of office space occupied by the Eastern School Board from Southwest Property, Inc., in the Atlantic Place building, St. John’s, NL for a period of three years from May 31, 2010 to May 30, 2013 at increased rental rates, exclusive of HST as follows: year one at $28.45/sq. ft., year two at $29.45/sq. ft.; year three at $30.45/sq. ft., subject to the Eastern School District retaining the ability to sublease the current office space in the event that another suitable location becomes available during the term of the extended lease.
