Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Bruce Belbin as Assistant Deputy Minister – Advanced Studies in the Department of Education, effective July 26, 2010, with salary at Step 30 on the 1450 Point Scale on the Executive Compensation Plan on appointment and with educational assistance approved in accordance with a letter on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council.  Mr. Belbin shall be entitled to reimbursement for reasonable expenses for his relocation from Alberta to Newfoundland and Labrador in accordance with a plan approved by the Clerk of the Executive Council and administered in accordance with Government’s Relocation Policy, with the amount allocated for transport of vehicles to be increased to $6,796.21.
