Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Education to pre-commit funding of $2,627,231 against its budgetary appropriations in 2011-12 and $3,940,846 against its budgetary appropriations in 2012-13, to facilitate the signing of the proposed Canada – Newfoundland and Labrador Agreement for Minority Language Education and Second Official Language Instruction 2009-10 to 2012-13.
