Under the authority of section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act and sections 10 and 11 of the Executive Council Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to enter into the Canada –Newfoundland Bilateral Agreement to Advance Sport Participation for 2009/10 and 2010/11, substantially along the lines of the agreement on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council, subject to the treatment of section 1.2 of Annex C of the draft Agreement being deferred to the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs.
