Under the authority of sections 10 and 11 of the Executive Council Act, section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act and section 72 of the Environmental Protection Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Deputy Minister of Environment and Conservation and the Deputy Minister for the Intergovernmental Affairs Secretariat to enter into a cost-sharing agreement with the Vice President, Operations Sector of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency substantially along the lines of the draft agreement attached to the Minister’s Submission, subject to the protocol on public disclosure of provincial funding being the same as the Lower Churchill Generation Project Cost-Sharing Agreement.
