Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Business to pre-commit funding of $1.4 million against its 2011/12 budgetary appropriations, $231,000 against its 2012/13 budgetary appropriations and $160,000 against its 2014/15 budgetary appropriations, to be initially sourced from the Business Attraction Fund – Grants and Subsidies in the event the Aerospace and Defence Development Fund is not approved beyond 2010-11, to facilitate a contribution to the College of the North Atlantic in partnership with Lufthansa Technical Training to assist with the implementation of European Aircraft Engineering Maintenance Training.
