Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture to pre-commit $125,000 against each of its 2011/12 and 2012/13 budgetary appropriations to enable the Department to enter into funding contribution agreements with two recommended safety organizations effective April 1, 2010, to March 31, 2013.
