Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture to pre-commit $3.25 million against its budgetary appropriations for 2011-12, $1.375 million against its budgetary appropriations for 2012-13 and $0.25 million against its budgetary appropriations for 2013-14 to facilitate an equity investment in Northern Harvest Sea Farms Newfoundland Limited.
