Under the authority of subsections 10(2) and 15(3) of the Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Atlantic Accord Implementation Newfoundland and Labrador Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Elizabeth Matthews as a provincial member of the Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board for a term of six years, effective January 01, 2011; and pursuant to subsections 10(3) and (4) of the said Act to designate Ms. Matthews as full time Vice Chairperson of the Board for a term of six years effective January 1, 2011, subject to the concurrence of the federal government to her designation as full time Vice Chairperson, with salary and other terms and conditions to be fixed upon agreement with the federal government.
