Under the authority of section 4(3) of the Child and Youth Advocate Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Carol A. Chafe as the Child and Youth Advocate in a temporary capacity, effective September 27, 2010, in accordance with a contract between Ms. Chafe and the Speaker of the House of Assembly to be filed with the Clerk of the Executive Council and with salary to be determined in consultation with the House of Assembly Management Commission.
