Under the authority of section 6 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint the Honourable Thomas J. Hedderson as the acting Minister of Municipal Affairs, Minister Responsible for Emergency Preparedness and Registrar General, in addition to his current responsibilities as Minister of Transportation and Works and Minister Responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation, effective September 20, 2010.
