Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Donna Ballard as Assistant Deputy Minister – Courts and Legal Services in the Department of Justice, effective September 27, 2010, with a salary increase of 3 percent above her current salary at SL-05, Step 9 of the Solicitor Pay Plan, with benefits to include payment of practice fees in the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador and with general salary increases applicable to the executive to apply.
