Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Health and Community Services to pre-commit funding in the amount of $4,900,000 against 2011-12 budgetary appropriations to permit the award of the Site Rough Grading Contract for the Corner Brook Hospital to the lowest compliant bidder, Pennecon Heavy Civil Ltd.
