Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Elizabeth Day as the Clerk of the Executive Council and Secretary to Cabinet, on an acting basis, effective May 1, 2017, with salary at Step 20 on the 2676 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a salary differential to apply of 1% above the salary of the highest paid Deputy Minister until such time as, through normal step progressions, general salary increases, or otherwise, Ms. Day’s salary is greater than the salary of the highest paid Deputy Minister. The salary adjustment shall apply for the duration of the acting appointment only.
