Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of section 8 of the Teacher Training Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint the following persons to the Teachers’ Certification Committee, effective immediately:  

a) Ron Smith, Director of Evaluation and Research, Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, as Chairperson;
b) Dr. Gerald Galway, representative of the Faculty of Education, Memorial University; and
c) Lester Simmons, representative of the Newfoundland and Labrador School Boards.
