Under the authority of section 3(l) of the Expropriation Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Transportation and Works to expropriate 5.034 hectares of land on the north side of Valley Road, Carbonear, including the existing Lions Club Building, for a new K-8 school and to name the “authority” in the Notice of Expropriation under sections 2(b)(iv) and 4(1) of the Act as the Eastern School District.
