Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint John Cowan as Assistant Deputy Minister (Energy Policy), in the Department of Natural Resources, on an acting basis, effective May 19, 2017, with salary at Step 25 on the 1358 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures, and with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply.
