Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Katie Norman as Executive Director (Planning and Coordination) in Cabinet Secretariat, on an acting basis, effective May 19, 2017, with salary at Step 22 on the 1216 Point Scale, and with a salary differential to apply of 1% above the salary of Ms. Norman’s highest paid subordinate until such time as, through normal step progressions, general salary increases, or otherwise, Ms. Norman’s salary is greater than the salary of her highest paid subordinate, and with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a position description to be forwarded by Ms. Norman to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of the date of her appointment, the outcome of which is to place her, retroactive to May 19, 2017 at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary to which she has been appointed herein.
