Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of section 2 of the Marble Mountain Development Corporation By-laws and paragraph 9(2)(b) of the Independent Appointments Commission Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council hereby authorizes the Minister of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation to: 

a) remove Tony Abbott  from  the Marble Mountain Development Corporation Board of Directors, effective immediately, both in his capacity as a member of the board and in his capacity as Chairperson;
b) remove James Pike as a member of the Marble Mountain Development Corporation Board of Directors, effective immediately; and
c) appoint the following individuals to the Marble Mountain Development Corporation Board of Directors, effective immediately, until such time as the positions are permanently filled in accordance with the Independent Appointments Commission Act:
i) Carmela Murphy, Assistant Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation (Tourism and Culture) as Chairperson,
ii) Brent Decker, Economic Development Officer (Western Region) of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation,  and
iii) Paul Taylor, Tourism Development Officer (Western Region) of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation.
