Under the authority of section 4(3) of the Child and Youth Advocate Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. John Rorke to act as the Child and Youth Advocate in a temporary capacity, effective December 22, 2009, in accordance with the terms and conditions of a contract between the Speaker of the House of Assembly and Mr. Rorke, a copy of which is to be filed with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
